Where has the year gone???

Its the end of July, the year is more then 1/2 gone. there are 156 days left in the year, 150 days till christmas, and 177 days till my next birthday, it doesn't seem very far away. i just think its crazy how fast the time goes by, it may not seem like it(except on weekends), but it sure does. On thursday we are leaving for our anual trip to BC to Kyle's grandma's house. we will be there till tuesday(driving back then) and then i am back to work on thursday, i'm taking wednesday off because we are going to do down town and get all the name changes and all that done, along with getting our passports done too, we figured that if we want to go to mexico in november or december we should have those in order. so thats the plan for now...

we are going to buy a new fridge when we get back too. the one we have now makes alot of weird noises, and i'm pretty sure its going to break down any minute. its not very good at keeping things in the door cold either. and stuff in the freezer is either frozen solid, or kind of melting. so its about time. and i would like everything in my kitchen to match, so far everything is white, except for the fridge. another bigger purchas i would like to make is a new tub for the upstairs, its very old and just plain gross. its a nasty yellow(off white) color, and has the whole built in tub surround thing going on that i just dont like, it makes it seem much smaller then it really is. so a nice new tub and some new tile to go all around up to the celling would be really nice. i'm getting all these ideas now that i am talking about them that i have started to write stuff down that i want to do. and i know that we can do these things because(and i know this isn't the best thing to do but oh well) we took out a line of credit so we can fix up the house and sell it! i'm excited because i think we are going to try and get everything done by next spring and put it up. so here's hopeing(*cross fingers*).

i dont really have much else to say, i only have 1 1/2 hours left in my day, so that helped speed things along. i better e-mail my cousin and see if they can check in on the house while we are gone. bye byee for now.

So here we are...

So I just typed a whole bunch of stuff, and I went to highlight it so I could do a little spell check and it disappeared!!!!! And then it did the save thing so it saved as it being all deleted. So I get to type it over again, which is okay, because I don’t have anything to do.

So.....as I was saying before. It has now been one month that Kyle and i have been married. Its exciting stuff. the time went by really fast, alot faster then i thought it would. but now Kyle and I are finally going to go to the bank to get joint bank accounts. I'm not really sure how it will work. like if I will just be added onto his or if they will make a whole new account or what, but I am excited. I will be glad when I can stop worrying about having to go to the bank to take out my half of the mortgage and giving it to Kyle so he can put it in his bank account. so that it will be there when the mortgage payment comes out. or when we go to pay our bills online. so I am looking forward to that.

some day this month we will also go down town to get my name legally changed to Chambers and all that stuff, like my Alberta Health and SIN card and anything and everything else that needs to be changed. I think we might go get our passports that day too. but I don’t know. we will just have to wait and see. I could go on the 31st of the month. That’s when we will leave for BC but I think that we aren't going to leave till the evening, so I can have the day to do all that running around. but again... I just don’t know. OR.... I could just take a Friday off early and do it. now I really don’t know. I should find all this out and then start making plans.

so anyways. I don’t really have much else to say. so I better be getting back to work. even though I don’t have anything to do...bye bye for now.

Oh my goodness...

It has been so long since i wrote anything. So i'm married now! it was awesome, everything went well. the food was good, the cake was fantastic, i cried like a baby, kyle almost cried, but held it in. it was good times. there isn't really anything else to say about it except that. we have been married for 4 weeks now(tomorrow). life is the same as it was before, because we were living together like a married couple anyways. i just have a extra ring on my finger and a new last name. but of course i do love being married, and introducing kyle as my husband, and i call him husband all the time too. its cute, i love it.

my cousin Kim had her baby, it was a girl just like i thought it would be. and a good thing too. we went over there and i droped off a hanging basket of flowers, all the flowers were pink! so i knew i was telling the future when i did that. and Andrew joked when he got home that night to sleep at the house that he didn't think anyone knew it was a girl, and i said i was just predicting the future. but anywas, there baby, Brianne(i think thats how you spell it) is so cute. and yes pretty much all babys are cute, but she is just adorable. she will be a heart breaker. and of course this just made me more baby crazy. we are very determined to have one. Kyle even wants one now that we are married as well. and i have always said, all my life i have wanted to be a mom, and we really hope that we can make that come true. and of course because i want it so bad i have to have issues with that as well. i have PCOS(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycystic_ovary_syndrome), if you want you can go to that web site and read up. but its pretty much that i have cysits on my ovary's, and i dont ovulate. but i have a appointment with a specialist for August 11. so i hope that she will be able to tell me something good. or fix me so i can have babies. because i really want one. and if it all came down to it and there was no chance that i could have one we would adopt, but i just want to be pregnant, and go through all the "good times" that comes along with it. but it will all come in good time, i just have to wait it out.

1st Shower...and wedding stuff...

Well last night i had my first of two bridal showers, it was really nice. It was at my Aunt Sherron's house, Kyle's mom(Cheri) and I got there at 6:30(it didn't start till 7:00 but oh well, i like being early). Then everyone else started filling in. 3 aunts, a bunch of cousins(8), Heather(my sister), Cheri, and a family friend(Val). we ate some little finger foods and cake. Then played the "spice game" its where you take a bunch of different spices and put them unmarked(aside from numbers) little cups and pass them around and then everyone writes down what they think is what. i got 5 out of 12 right. my Aunt Nancy and cousin Kim won, i think they got 8/12 right, so they won some stuff from bath and body works(its like the body shop, just bigger and better, and in the states). and then i opened presents. From Aunt Wendy and Andrea i got a big picture frame(with 7 photo spaces on them), a cutting board and a cheese grater(all things on my registry). Aunt Sherron gave me a bunch of stuff from bath and body works, Val(family friend) gave me a gift card to pier one, my cousin Danielle gave me a gift card for a movie theater. Melani(cousin) gave me a really nice chefs knife, and The Bullocks(Aunt Nancy, Cousin's Kim, Tara, Madi, Jeneal, and Charity) all pitched in and got us the dish set that we registered for. My aunt Sherron brought up a gift from my Grandma(in Utah). In there was 2 cooking sheets, a cook book(a really good one too), and something that my grandpa made. I didn't want to open it because i knew that i would start crying, but i did anyways, and i started crying, then aunt sherron started, then nancy, heather, kim, wendy, and andrea. but thats okay. i was very happy to get it. so yeah, it was a good night. we left at 9:00 and got home at 9:30, i drove. we made kyle come out and take the dishes in. it was alot of fun.

i'm looking foward to my shower next week out in Carmangay with my dad's family. and then the week after that its the wedding. very exciting stuff.

Heather will come over on sunday and we are going to make up the little party favors. so i have to go out and buy the candy tonight or tomorrow. as well as doing up the other center pieces. i have a list of stuff that i need to do. as well as picking up my dress. which i will do tomorrow. so i have a very exciting busy weekend. and next weekend i will be at the other shower and in Lethbridge so i wont have time to do any of this stuff. and as i am typing this i keep thinking of other things that i need to do. so i am just writing them down as i go. so again, a very busy weekend.

i am hoping we can get all the wedding stuff done as well as putting carpet in the computer room.
last weekend we did our bedroom. and it looks awesome. so it would be nice to get the other room done as well. we have the carpet for that room in one of the other bedrooms downstairs and once we get that roll of carpet out of there we will be able to clean up that room, maybe even get it painted, and have that all sorted out. then i think we will have our house in pretty good shape. so once again, a very very busy weekend ahead of me. but thats okay. but i better get back to work. bye byee for now...

Mothers Day...

My sister and I are going to go down to Lethbridge for Mothers day. Lethbridge because thats where our mom lives, for those of you that didn't know that. haha. I'm excited to see my mom, it hasn't been very long, but its different when you aren't able to see them every day, if you wanted. so i am excited, and then i will get to see her next weekend because she is coming up to go meet with people about the wedding, and pay for the most part of the food.and then just a few days after that for my first bridal shower, and then the next weekend after that Heather and I are going to Lethbridge again for my second bridal shower, and then......(haha) a week after that its the wedding. so my mom and i have some busy weeks ahead of us. but thats okay.

i am very excited about the wedding now. We looked at wedding bands for Kyle on monday, found some really nice ones, but really $$$ too. i know that i can get something nice and not have to spend alot of money either. so i will look more when Heather and I go to the mall on friday, and maybe in Lethbridge too if we get there early enough. I think we are going up saturday morning. Heather usually works on saturdays but i think she said that she was going to see if she could get it off, or only work till 12:00 or something like that. i dont know i will talk to her later and find out for sure.

we are meeting kyles friend(Andrew) and best man tonight for dinner and drinks, just to talk and hang out. it will be nice to see him, he was in Asia for i think 2 months or 7 weeks, i'm not sure, but we havn't seen him in a while, so it will be nice to catch up. but anyways..... i dont have much else to say, i am at work and i am bored!!!!! and this will be my second post this week, its a record, lol. anyways.... bye byee for now.

33 days till the wedding…

Not much to say though, everything is done. We just need to pay for the food. My mom is coming up from Lethbridge on the 17th(of May) to pay for it, well her part at least, and I will get the other part of the money from my dad before that time. I figured out the main stuff, and who paid for what…

Hall – $150, Kyle’s parents
Bar Service – $100, Kyle’s parents
Food – $1350, $1000 from mom, and the rest from dad
DJ – $500, Kyle’s parents
My Dress – $600, Me (Kyle’s aunt Heather is doing my hair for me)

Everything else we didn’t spend much on, the centerpieces were $30 for 15. So that was awesome. And there wasn’t a whole bunch left after that. We have everything pretty much all together. We (Heather and I) are going shopping for Heather’s brides maids dress on Friday, I really hope that we will be able to find something. And that’s pretty much it. Oh yeah, candy for the little “goodie bags” for the tables, and that’s it, I think. Lol. I am getting even more excited, I have my bridal shower (first one) in 2 weeks, and then the other a week after that. I am just so excited!!!! But that’s all I have to write for now.
